Anthony David Gonzalez was a tight end in American football who played for the National Football League. He was a 17-year veteran playing on the field. From the beginning of 2017 NFL season began, Gonzalez has been a fixture for FOX NFL KICKOFF FOX's hour long NFL pregame program that precedes FOX NFL SUNDAY, airing every Sunday at 11:15 AM ET during the NFL season.
Gonzalez was signed to a contract for Atlanta Falcons for two years and $11 million on the 15th of March 2013. This was despite the fact that Gonzalez previously stated that he was planning to retire at the end of 2013 NFL season. Randy Moss' retirement meant that Gonzalez was the NFL's leader in active yards recieving the last time during his playing career.
